PSG striker Edinson Cavani is heading home to Uruguayan club Penarol, according to club captain Cristian Rodriguez.
The 33-year-old was linked in January with Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.
But close friend Rodriguez says the Uruguay international is heading back to the club, who are managed by Diego Forlan.
The 35-year-old told FM Del Sol – via the Daily Star: “I have the authority to talk about Edi.
“He’s about to come to Penarol and I can’t say anything else.
“Call him and ask him.”
